Issue Age is Calculated as Age Last Birthday.
All premiums quoted guarantee the initial Death Benefit selected for the age shown for each displayed underwriting class. The product has two death benefit designs. The Legacy Max Level Death Benefit Product pays the face amount of the policy after the policy is issued. Under the Legacy Graded Death Benefit Product, a reduced death benefit equaling 110% of paid premiums will be paid during the first two policy years if death results from sickness or other natural causes.
Premium charges will depend on each applicant’s evidence of insurability. The insurance company may contest the policy for two years from date of policy issue or the date of reinstatement for material misstatements or omissions on the application.Death benefit is payable from any cause, except suicide within first two policy years. In the event of suicide in the first two years, the policy is limited to return of premium paid less any policy loans and less any partial cash surrenders paid*. Premiums paid may exceed amount of coverage. For an estimate of the year the premiums may exceed the amount of coverage, divide the face amount by the annual premium.
*When the laws of the state in which this policy is issued for delivery require less than this two-year period, the period will be as stated in such laws.
Under current federal tax law, this policy will qualify as life insurance under the Cash Value Accumulation Test.
